For the Lord Baltimore Hotel's In Good Taste Artist Series, Mark Anthony West will share his new portrait series " 7 Stars across 2 Skies." West produced this series in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil during his recent residency at Art Space Vidigal. In this collection, West envisions the creatives from his community as sovereign forces, powerful beings fully in command of their own universes. West’s signature terra cotta noses and multicolored metallic leaf infuse the portraits with warmth and radiance, grounding celestial themes in earthly form.
