I believe that the greatest barrier to creative prosperity is a localized mindset. My perspective is forged through deep international immersion, institutional execution, and a refusal to play small.

My academic and research foundation is built on global rigor. I began by studying History and the Humanities at NYU Shanghai, immersing myself in Eastern philosophy and mastering Mandarin. I expanded this training in Paris, conducting museum studies on-site at the Musée du Louvre to decode the institutional frameworks of the Western art world. Deepening my dedication to the global Black diaspora, I traveled to Accra to conduct intensive research in African Studies and Twi at the University of Ghana-Legon.

Bringing this multi-continental expertise back to the Americas, I established and directed the Mark West Center for the Arts (House of Mark West) in New York City, before moving to Brazil to direct Art Space Vidigal—a vital international hub for Afro-Diasporic creators in Rio de Janeiro, where I became fluent in Brazilian Portuguese.

CURRENT INITIATIVE: THE GLOBAL INCUBATION

To further scale my practice, I am launching an intensive, 5-month global deployment across Morocco, Egypt, India, and Southeast Asia. This upcoming independent research residency is designed to study international art production pipelines, master monumental scales of design, and activate cross-border strategic partnerships.

Today, my work serves two distinct verticals:

  1. Fine Art Production: Creating high-concept, visually arresting physical and digital work inspired by global geometry, ancient architecture, and cross-cultural textile traditions.

  2. Global Creative Consulting: Leveraging my elite institutional background and multi-lingual assets (Portuguese, French, Mandarin, and Twi) to help international galleries, cultural institutions, and corporate collectors navigate cross-border curation, institutional strategy, and emerging global creative trends.
